Heidi Truitt
- Heidi Truitt graduated from Bethel College, St. Paul, MN (B.A.), Iowa State University (M.S.) and most recently The Institute for Worship Studies in 2020.
- Her work history includes public school teacher/counselor; private counseling practice; private piano instruction; church ministry director; and owning/directing The Harmony House. Heidi owns and operates The Harmony House and serves as Co-Pastor of New Song Fellowship.
- Her volunteer ministry involvements include conceptualizing, developing and leading various ministries: lay counseling; center for the arts; Caring for Others, Inc., Mosaic Ministries, Inc., The Harmony House, and most recently New Song Fellowship.
- In addition, Heidi has supported and/or led worship in the following capacities: orchestra (flute), pianist, and children's choir. Heidi organized benefit concerts and/or led teams to support ministry efforts for twelve short-term Nicaraguan mission trips from 2003 - 2016.
- Darrell and Heidi have two grown children, Aaron and Kara, and one son-in-love, Zach. Heidi (and family) enjoy hiking to N. Georgia waterfalls, music, live arts/music performances (varied), and all things ministry-related.
- In 2005, Heidi combined her love for the arts, missions and teaching in launching an arts ministry. In 2008 the music/arts center became known as "The Harmony House," a Christian-based center in Kennesaw. In 2019, The Harmony House extended to offer a second site for lessons in Acworth, GA. Today, the centers have grown to offer the greater Kennesaw/Acworth area music retail & repairs; instrument rental; and of course, music/arts lessons & classes.
- New Song Fellowship has offered worship services, Sundays at 10, since February 2017. Our vision is "Gospel on the Go!" offering worship services in the community, at Must Ministries, Swift-Cantrell park, and on the internet.

- Jonneé D'Armond studied Music Education at Pierce College in 1992 and studied at Central Washington University. She has been teaching Brass, Woodwinds, and Piano for over 36 years and violin for about 10 years.
- She has played professionally with a variety of groups which include Christian Praise, Church Orchestras, Various Wind Ensembles, Jazz Bands and Dixieland Bands. She is currently performing with the West Side Winds Jazz Ensemble. She has also performed internationally with Praise Bands in Belgium, Nigeria, South Africa, and Nicaragua.
- Jonneé has instructed several home school bands and orchestras. She taught band at the First Baptist Christian School in Kennesaw for 2 years and assisted with the band program at Mount Paran Christian School. Jonneé also currently teaches saxophone and piano at The Harmony House, among other instruments.
- She is a brilliant musician with a wonderful tone, and the ability to play with God's lead. She makes an excellent addition to the New Song Ensemble.

- Kara Taylor graduated from Berry College in Rome, GA with a bachelor's degree in Music Education (instrumental and vocal). She loves to use her voice and instruments (piano, flute, harp, ukulele, guitar) to worship, teach, and compose music.
- Kara has taught middle school choir, and is currently a private lessons teacher. She is also a worship leader and the music technician for New Song Fellowship.
- She believes there is no greater joy and purpose other than sharing Christ with others. People need to hear the good news, so that is our team goal.
- Kara joined Heidi Truitt on seven trips to Nicaragua, where she played worship music and helped to distribute shoes, school supplies, food, and farm animals.
- During her Music Education degree at Berry College, Kara had the opportunity to travel to Cape Town, South Africa to teach choir in several townships lead by the Christian foundation, "Living Hope".
- Kara is newly married to Zach Taylor, a mechanical engineering master's graduate from Vanderbilt University.
- Kara writes "Scripture Songs" to memorize Bible verses. She posts them on New Song's YouTube and Instagram pages so that others can memorize scripture too!
Nicaragua Missions

North American and Nicaraguan missions teams gather together after spending the morning teaching about anxiety and God's hope in the nearby university.
Our team drove for hours over rough terrain to find this remote community located in a landfill. We expected desperation, but to our great surprise, the church families reflected God's joy and love. We got to work handing out toys, stuffed animals, and school supplies. We fitted the children for shoes, and praise God, had exactly the correct amount!
